hello all, Im new to this forum kind of stumbled over it looking for parts for my 86 honda 500 ceptor. I bought this bike last summer for $1600 with just under 7k miles on the speedo. My question is though I noticed looking around at other 500's my fairings seem a little different, can anyone tell me if this is stock or aftermarket fairings?

I dont know what it is but its beautiful and clean. I like it more than the airtech streamlining fairing.

It is not stock, it was sold by Spec II and came unpainted; and the paint is very nice and a one off. Her is a pic of my VF500. JIM

it looks like it is just the fabric of the seat. I want a seat cowl for mine too but can't find them anywhere! I may just have to make one with some fiberglass...

The one shown looks like a Lockhart Phillips part. Those came painted and ready to use.

Jamie, now that you mention it you may be right SO it is on or the other....the seat on my 500 is a Corbin gunfighter special order in red white and blue no longer made. JIM
