So i had my carbs air filter and plugs done this weekend, I got the bike back and noticed a small leak in the float bowl so i tightened up the screws and then started the bike

It ran great, for about two days, so as i ripped it in 2nd gear i think, i heard my bike bog down, I get to the lights and realize i lost tons of power while in gear.

he started it up and said your running on 4 cylinders after reving it, I have spark in all four cylinders and the carbs were just replaced (old ones were done)

Could the problem be rust from my gas tank?(because i did have rust and my old carbs had two inline filters to the carbs) or something with a slider being lazy or sticking cuz there new?

Could it be anything else? please help

And i never cleaned nor fixed the tank, never even thought about it seriously(newbie bike owner) even tho i could hear the rust flakes when i emptied my gas tank

Well if you could HEAR the rust in the tank, then you already answered your problem.

Start simple - you know what could be causing a problem - so address that first.

Even IF the rust in the tank isn't your current problem, it IS a big issue that needs addressed, and COULD be causing your problem.

Take care of the tank, then if it's not right, you may want to pull the carbs again, at least drop the bowls, to see if any rust has clogged anything up.

If only 1 cylinder isn't running, it could still be a lack of fuel to that carb. Due to a chunk of rust? Other than that, it's time to get out a compression gauge!
