im attempting to do an exhuast gut or partial gut. i got a spare exhaust from someone( thanks again ) so i can do whatever i want to this one and still have my original. im doing this mostly just to have something to tinker with but my question is what is the prefered way to do this. i have it all apart, cap is off and internals are out and i can see the zig zag path of flow. from my experience with dirt bike mufflers there is usually a straight pipe in the middle with holes in it that is wrapped in packing giving the exhuast a straight flow. is that what the staintunes and microns have? anyway would like to know what would give the best sound nearest the staintune? thanks in advance
