In case anybody is intrested, I can confirm that risers built for the 98 VT1000 Hawk fit perfectly on the 98-01 VFR800. Nothing fouls and everything works great. The VT1000 risers can be picked up for pretty cheap on eBay, I got mine for $20 :thumbsup:
