Would like a OEM set of front foot rests (driver) for 99 VFR so I can junk the after mkt ones that came on the bike. Also, previous owner let keys scratch top tree plate. Any after market stick-on cover for this, like carbon fiber, etc.? Thanks
I have a big sheet of 3M vinyl graphic that is printed with a carbon fibre pattern. If you don't mind the white CF look I would be happy to mail you a sheet. I installed some on my last VFR (a 97) and it had the same problem with marks from the keys. The color turned out to look pretty good, but if you don't like the white CF, try asking someone near you that does vinyl graphics and see if you can get one cut to fit or even installed for you. PM me with the address if your interested. I have a 2000 VFR so I should be able to send you enough to do it twice, in case you mess up cutting it like I did the first time. Can't help with the foot pegs unfortunately but there was a guy on the site recently that was parting out a fifth gen. I think the post was in the General Discussion part of the forum.
