I was putting along at 100 mph. Police said their radar read 95. I was just wondering if my speedo is off 5%? What does everybody think?

There is also a cosign error in radar to the benifit of the target. And it is right in the range that you noted there so at that particular time, your speedo was actually fairly accurate for a change. Unless of course there is no cosign error if the officer stands driectly in front of the on coming target. That is not a wise way to do business.

Cable driven speedos tend to be close to 10% past aboot 60mph and electronic 2% ish. Cars are aboot the same in my experience.
