    Hi
    Recently bought VFR750'96
I have experienced problem with headlight.
I found that my low beam is aimed too high.
I'm trying to adjust aiming turning the adjustment screw (A) counterclockwise.

It goes good, the low beam goes downwards but at some point something cracks and the beam comes aiming straight ahead parallel to the ground.

If I continue to turn it counterclockwise nothing goes on. So i need to fully drive in the adjustment screw and after that I can start again aiming low beam.

May be I'm making something wrong? How do I adjust headlight aiming? What are screws B and C for?

    Thanks,
    Alexander

Are you sure that is off of a '96? The Service Manual (and my own '96 in the garage) indicates 2 horizontal adjuster screws at the bottom middle position, along with the vertical adjuster at the upper left. In the pic I only see one screw at the bottom...maybe I'm just missing it...

    Yes, it is definitely '96.
I have seen that picture in Service Manual and wondered that it does not correspond with my headlight. But the Service Manual is common for '90-'97 models. Probably the headlight on the picture is for '90-'93 models.
I have seen lots of '94-97 models headlight photos on ebay, they are all just like mine. May be headlights are different for American and European models?

Must be different; my bike's setup is exactly as shown in the Manual; Perhaps someone else here may have the answer for you; good luck.

Something to remember is that you should do the adjustment while using high beam only.

Once that is properly set ( just very slightly below horizontal) the low beam falls into place naturally.
