Some asked why there were spec for the 3rd gen but not the 4th. Seeing as we also have spec of other generations, I felt it appropriate to add the 4th gen, too.

It might also help those searching for a vfr to compare some of the differences between the different generations. :)

you could just throw them all together in a spreadsheet for everyone that always asks, what's the difference between 4th and 5th etc. Then you could put it in the VFR wiki.

Aren't JDM 4G+ VFR's detuned? Maybe this is true for EU spec bikes, too?

To see all the changes from 3rd to 4th, get a 95 service manual. It lists everything and then the changes for 94 up. Along with drawings. There are A LOT of small changes. Some good, some so-so.

I have a collection of articles when the 3rd gen was new and they list it as 79 hp. Is one rear wheel, and the other engine? It seems like 20% loss is a lot.

Had mine dynoed at 32K miles, thou I have a KN air filter and a Staintune, it pulled 97HP 55 torque. I too have the Factory manual where it has inserts showing whats different between the two versions, some are minor, some not so.
