Well, today was my day off,and although the overnight temp was 9 degrees, it was 48 about noon. I took off on dry roads this time, but gave the tires some time @ speed to warm up. Before I left, I adjusted the front brake lever down as far as I could get it, still not ideal, but pretty close. I think I'm really going to like this bike. My first ride thought, of a reluctance to turn, was all me being reluctant to pitch it about on cold wet roads. I love the way this thing handles, + I think the forks are already 10mm up from the triple tree. I also absolutely love the sound of this engine through that Akrapovic can. More torque that I thought, especialy at 5000rpm & up. It's sneaky fast too... if I shifted smartly (@1/3 throttle) all the way to 6th.... 100+ dang......Daddy like. Can't wait to ride it back to back with my oh so familiar ZRX. So far the Honda win's exhaust note contest, and my ZRX has a full Akrapovic system too. I'm diggi'n the riding position too, but this is as close as I could ever get to the sportbike "crouch". Hope I get plenty of good days to get out this winter, even though the roads are already salty & sandy. Can't wait to get this thing to the Ozarks!!!
