I love the look, but you're gonna have a hard time making me believe it's not that loud...especially since you've removed the muffler AND cat!

I kept the cats, just got rid of the huge gaudy can lol. But the tip has baffles in it, so it tones it down quite a bit. I'll try to post a video ASAP, right now they're parked in the garage because Florida getting hit hard with weather.

Please sell your bike. You are clearly not the sort of person who should be riding a Honda.

yeah i think there is a cat in the mix somewhere as well the helps muffle it not sure about that as i havnt really looked at one because im not interested. but if there is a cat in there then it will sound more muffled than just a straight pipe. just my thoughts

Wow! Another VFR1200 in Florida? I didn't know another one was sold in the state of Florida. I've never seen one anywhere. And, you're close. I'm in Jacksonville. I have the DCT and love it. I was thinking about modding my OEM muffler for more sound because I really like the look and flow of the original muffler. I will try to contact you later to see if we can meet to compare sounds. We are still being hit pretty hard with high winds and rain.

    Thanks,

Same here, pouring rain, sucks! And I've yet to see another either. Which is surprising, seeing as I'm always in Jax. Have you done the flapper mod? Its actually surprisingly easy. And I was considering the DCT, but I like the ability to control the clutch myself lol. Let me know when you'd like to meet up sometime, I'm kinda curious about that DCT.
@ Dangerous Dave, Orion3814, and Ishark, thats correct, the cat is directly under the oil pan.

if your reasoning was for better looks then I'd say you won.

If you think you're getting better performance from messing with the exhaust and flapper then I will bet money you are mistaken.

It was largely in part for looks, but also sound (I swear I can hear the valves over the stock can lol). The performance may just be in my head, but it seems slightly more responsive. Just my observation though. It is pretty cool to see the whole wheel though! Its gotten lots of looks and questions when parked around town, so i'm not complaining!
