    Hey all,

Quick question about a new to me 09 VFR w/ 18500 miles. When it idles it holds slightly above 1000 RPMS, and the tach bounces ever so slightly, just kind of a wobble. It is not surging or searching, just kind of a slight wobble. If I increase the revs and hold, it will still have that slight wobble too. Is this normal?

    Thx!

My 2005 6th gen does that too so I assume it to be normal. The manual calls for idle RPM to be 1200. It usually goes to higher RPM's if engine is cold on idle. That wobble though, it goes away while riding on 3k+ RPM. If it still persists for you, someone more experienced might have the answer for you.
