I am considering going to the 2007 STAR that is being held at Ashville NC 24-27 June. It is a HSTA event and I am wondering if anyone else is going? http://star.ridehsta.com
looks like a blast. did you see what bike they are giving away this year? awesome. wish I could go. I'd have to plan something like that about a year ahead because of the distance.
Every year it is held at a different spot. I am a days drive from there. If it was to be held on the West Coast, that would be two days drive. Wow, I finally fould something good being out here in the corn fields. Drive time is half of what I had before.
heading down the blue ridge Wednesday. looks like fun. Asheville is a great tourist stop. the Dragon's on the list.

Thanks for the info. If I can get my friends off their d@mn sofa, and get their bikes off the battery tenders, I'll have to ride down to Asheville. It's only about a 1 hour ride for me. Seems like my riding clan is sitting on their duffs. Seems like nobody has the time to ride this year.
