2002 Starting Trouble

    I wanted to give everyone an update as to what am finding with my bike. I recently took the bike out and drove it extremely hard for about 30-40 miles. I kept the rpm's above 10K the entire time. I have also been trying lower octane fuel, 87 in my state. These two things combined seem to help. Lately, the bike will either keep running in the first try, although very rough, or it takes two attempts to keep it running. This is much better than 4-5 times that I had been running into in the past.

    I have also been having to do 2 - 4 starts to get my bike going following which it doesnt like to rev much for about 20 sec.
    I changed to standard unleaded from the premium unleaded I was using and magic, it started first go this morning in the cold.....

    I don't mean to take away from this thread but:
    Jozef,
    Would you mind taking a look at my '02' sputtering post and tell me if that sounds like your O2 sensor problem.
