Being a Noob to the site I wanted to report that I am now a "legal" member since i didnt have a VFR when i joined. Monday I picked up my 06 White VFR with 1 mile on the odometer:cool: . Sticker price was $7,900, and out the door for $9,226.00 including Honda's four year extra warranty. I'm fairly happy with the deal, except having to restrain myself from revving it out during the break in procccess. I have noticed that the throttle feels "vague" when cracking it open while just cruising, as in it takes considerable twist to get the engine to respond. I figure this will get better as the engine breaks in.
For those in California interested in the same deal I got, look up Roseville Cycle Center in Roseville (Sacramento area) and ask for Greg. He has taken care of me both times I have bought bikes from him. I beleive the number is 800 or 888 werace2.

Sounds pretty good depending on your tax rate, I paid 8519.00 for mine OTD without the warranty. I was told I have a year to buy it and when I'm ready it will be $400. But mine had 0 miles on it. Great color, white is the fastest.

That's where I bought my '06 from too! The guy who sold me mine was named Greg also, maybe the same guy. Seemed like a straight shooter and didn't try and screw me at all.

Where's Lemoore in relation to Sac? Never heard of it. I'm in Placerville, btw, just east of Sac in the Sierra foothills.

Have them adjust the throttle. Mine did this in 2000 & one day the throttle loosened itself up to the point where I only could get up to 45mph with the throttle cranked to the stop. It took the tech 1 hour & they did it for free since it was still under warranty at the time.

    KC-10 FE out...

KG- Lemoore is exactly 3 hours south of Sacramento, and 40 minutes south of Fresno. Great place to hide a navy base huh? I know of placerville- even rode through it a couple of times. I grew up in Auburn, where I visit my Father often.
