1st gen exhaust

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a few months now. I p/u a 1984 vf750 f last year
and I'm just getting around to start some work on it. Bear with me as i'm an old fart
and usually go about things fairly slowly. My question concerns exhaust systems for 1st gen,
I've seen some on ebay (stock), and need to talk to a friend that owns an exhaust shop
abbout making a system for me. But the question is has anybody heard of X-pipes, it seems
they make a set for the 1st gen. has anyone heard or had any experiance with them?

I've e-mailed them but not heard back yet

 

Got a note back from X-PIPES Headers, Monty says yes he makes them for
1st Gen vf750s. He sent a picture but it doesn't really show anything. I just
got a system for my 84 (Yoshi) so I don't really need them, a week earlier
with his e-mail and i would probably tried them.

Personally, I don't care for the looks of the exhaust system (To short).

 

Yeah I agree with you Paul, I suppose he could extend them if asked.
