Riding happily along, enjoying the countryside... I glance down at my instrument panel... and see the temp guage bouncing up and down... boing.. boing... boing...

    WTH?

I will research, but anyone have any clues as to what this might be?
    - temp guage malfunction ?
    - therostat ?
    - thermo switch ?

Freaking bugging the hell otta me!

    Alex

Start by cleaning the contacts at the thermo switch. Thermostat won't make it "boing" bounce. Most likely the gauge. Check and clean all contacts (connectors) for the gauge panel. That's a start. Good luck and most of all have FUN.

Temp guage is off the thermostat. Fan is off the sensor on the rad.
