The chain on my 1984 VF700 just broke while I was riding down the highway...does anyone know a modern replacement for it? I'm a novice with bikes so any help will be appreciated. Also, it doesn't feel like it has much power; if I fully roll the throttle from stop in first gear the rear tire will spin, but only at a slow rate. Is this normal? I'm not trying to do stunts on it or anything, it just doesn't feel like there's much torque. I wasn't sure if this is to be expected in an old four cylinder, or if it is because the bike is fairly heavy, or both.

    Thanks,

    Josh

After digging around a little more on the web I found an answer to my chain question:

"It's a manufacturer's proprietary part number. "50" stands for chain size 530, "O" probably means O-rings, "110" is definitely the number of links. Any size 530 chain with 110 links will fit your bike."
