i have a 1st gen 1983 honda interceptor, and im having a problem. one day its just stopped starting, and im sure its electrical. every time i hit the starter it blows the main fuse, and nothing happens no starter sound. so i replaced the whole wiring harness and tried again..nothing.i replaced the starter relay...nothing. i traced a short to ground in the starter, i replaced the starter....nothing. im getting frustrated with the whole situation....any ideas?

Check the wires in the right hand switch. Your kill switch or starter wire might be shorted in there. The same wires could also be shorted somewhere else. Trace them and make sure.
