I searched this, so point me in the right direction if I just can't search right.
Think I found a guy with a BMW style Powerlet outlet in his steering head.
That hole is just PERFECT for an outlet.
My problem is that it is 3/4 of an inch and all the cigarette lighter ones I find are just under 1 inch. Don't want a Powerlet. Two items I want to charge have standard size. Adapter will just shake loose and get in the way, too.

Has anyone found one that can be jammed in there?
My ride is a '96 if that hole is different sizes in different years.

    Thanks, Doc!

Yeah, I've got a line on a nice plastic one with a cover. That is about where it will go if I can't jam it in the steering head.
    That is my back-up plan.
Want to get it into that perfectly placed center hole. (Don't quote me on that:biggrin:)
It's going on the cycle, one way or another. Got a cross-country trip coming up and the phone will be charged, and the radar detector will be scanning.
    Hell or high water.
