The only problem I have with "you will have to redo" is that I don't want the dipshit who didn't mask as instructed in the first place, the one using a 90 deg grinder on the critical area to remove his fuck up. "Here ya go, boss. All fixed."

I know there are competent places out there that are used to doing motorcycles and hot-rods, not just hand rails and light posts.
