Very nice. That would be my type of get together. I'd have to decide whether to bring the 500, 750 or 1000.
You've got to love the older bikes. They still have their place. I'm glad yours is working for you. It looks like you've got the '85. What are...
I have parts, but none of those. Everything you have listed is next to impossible to find. Keep looking though. Over the years, I've been lucky...
Terrible news. I never met him but enjoyed having him on this forum. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family...
That is one spare part I don't have, otherwise I'd let you have it. What about having one fabricated?
I agree with invisible cities. If this bike is truly brand new and never ridden, then it is worth far more than what it went for new. It's tough...
My very first bike was a VF500F. After getting my license, I thought that I wanted a sport bike and spent the next few years on a CBR600. After...
I had the same problem. Here is how I got it done. http://vfrworld.com/forums/6th-generation-2002-2009/7587-fender-eliminator-installation-tip.html
It does seem that in the US, all we get are leftovers. The European bike market is way better than ours.
I love that color scheme. I wish it was offered in the US. Welcome to the forum.
Grey - here's a link that supports what you're saying. If you haven't seen it before, then it's worth a read. VF in review
Your bike is identical to mine. The white rims are a great enhancement. They're a pain to keep clean, but well worth the effort. Welcome to the...
With that kind of mileage and in that kind of condition, I would not ride it. I would buy it and then try to find one that had a little more wear...
I doubt it. I have a New York plate which is 7" wide and it just fits in there. There is maybe 1/10" on each side from where the plate ends to...
I'm in Syracuse. Like tmyoungjr, the only riding I get to do is to and from work, but I might be able to break away..............
It's still looking good. Are you going to keep it white or are you going to add other color / trim?
Mine is 21-1/4 inches from the center of the swingarm bolt to the center of the rear axle. The gearing is stock and my chain adjuster is only on...
That looks like a nice and clean R. The bodywork looks really good from the pictures. It is hard to find one of these that doesn't have some...
Nice work. Your bike looks great for it's age. In 1986, we only got the 700 in white. The 750 was RWB (which is the one that I own as well).
It's great to have another VF1KR member. You need to post some pictures and tell us a little bit about the bike. Welcome to the forum.
