just curious why you went with the sargent seat when you said that if the cowl didn't fit that would be a deal breaker for you?
so sounds like from what i am hearing is go with the 6th gen even with the higher mileage with the options and all a better deal.

Don't know which gen to get I can get a gen 5 with 23000kms for 5000 or a gen 6 with 58000kms for 5000 both bikes have all maintenance up to date...

hey there i am from edmonton as well....actually sherwood park and have a 91 VFR be cool to meet up with other local vfr owners.
wow no doubt my wingrack cost me 120.00 and the fitting kit 100.00 and still have to get the hard bags yet.
thanks for the pic guess with the seat on you won't even notice the piece missing if you remove the mounting kit and wingrack.

yes i ordered my gen4 mounting kit from aviciouscycle.ca it is a cdn company that is pretty reasonable and you don't have to deal with exchange....
