To check charging, start bike meter on DC volts across battery, it should be reading around 14.5v @ 5k revs with headlights on main beam.
On a fully charged battery it should last a few hours. At idle it won’t be charging.

You do know that the pinlock pins are on a cam so they can be adjusted to snug fit. Easy enough to transfer it over.
