    Thanks for answering. I've had my VFR for many years and it has been running fine - till now. Agree, one plug cap is faulty. Will replace it ASAP....

    FIXED! Seat Latch not moving

    Could it be something wrong with your key lock mechanism. Disconnected the wire from the key lock (if possible) and pull the wire.

    Not with the OEM wiring, then it is 14,0 - 14,2V with lights off! Anyway, 14,5V (boost charge) over a period might kill your battery ;)

    5th gen 98-99 is not chipped, but 00-01 is chipped (HISS). This is in Europe, could be different in US.
