Change of the cans

Decided to change the cans on this bike. My buddy suggested putting on R1 cans. So he adapted the cans to fit my bike. Cut off 3 inches, no packing, opened them up and cut holes to create a direct flow pattern. Then the welding began. The cans are made to be opened again, in case I want to make it softer in sound. The cans used the existing pipes off the engine and clamps to connect. Could not weld directly to them due to the material used and it made the weld crack. This is the only VFR found to have R1 mufflers on them. It looks like they are made for the bike. It increased the HP and torque of the bike. Also made the back end lighter. It is more responsive and hugs the roads so much better. Just have to get a power commander next to get better fuel economy again. Then the paint job and the addition of LEDs.
