    I've been a Marine for over half my life. I was seriously injured in 2005 (my last deployment) and spent 13 months in hospitals for surgeries/healing/rehab/repeat. I was retired from Active Duty (not by choice) in 2006. Since my last surgery (01/2011) where I now have a totally titanium & plastic knee, I've decided to start getting my VFR800 running (it's been sitting in my garage since I last deployed in 2004). I can't ride it yet (knee only bends maybe about 90 degrees so far and has no strength). I want my VFR to be ready to ride as soon as my knee is. My H-D (the down pmt at least) was a Father's Day present in 2008 from my wife and family as a stress / frustration / depression reducer.

    BI (Before Injury) - Motorcycling; 4x4ing; Scuba Diving; Hiking; Camping; etc... Now - not much!!
