Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor from a hit and run off my motorcycle a few months after I first signed up. 2014. Not only did I buy that wrecked bike back, rebuild it and ride it...but before I even found it in a junkyard, I started building a 98 vfr800fi motor. After motor, I put a frame on it. Then rear end. Then front end. Then everything in between. Lastly, FI and electrical. A bike I started building in 2017(with Diffuse Axonal Injury and an SSDI income), was done by 2020. So I've been riding it the past couple years. This bike wasn't a rebuilt bike. It was a complete build with every part coming off another bike. And I have Vermont plates. I've never been there! R1 front end. RC51 oil cooler. ST1300 radiator. Sixth Gen frame/subframe/swingarm. Cbr929rr shock. (DMr Suspension) 98 pgmfi motor. Cbr1000rr coils. Barnett clutch. Slightly bigger OEM piston. 6th Gen tank. R1 seat/tail.
Everything's torqued to spec. This bikes under -2k mi so far.
My TBI and other injuries did not take away my passion. Nor my ability to partake in the fun.
I just probably shouldn't be doing mechanics professionally now.
I tried, went back to where I was doing race prep. And I was too slow and made too many mistakes...
So now I just have comfort with less.
    Bike and dogs are enough.
