My solo tour from Del Mar, CA to Vegas between 7-9 and 7-12. I took the back roads through Anza, Indian Wells, Joshua Tree, 29 Palms, Vidal Junctions and Needles. On the second and third days I rode to Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the Red Rock. the scenery was amazing and the ride was fun and meditational. Desert temperature when I left on 7/9 was high 80's to mid 90's. Coming back on 7/12 it was 37 for the first 150 miles! While visiting Red Rock, I got rained, hailed and snowed on but had a great time nevertheless.
