Sounds is as good as it looks. Just a little deeper than the stock one. Nothing crazy, nothing to draw attention. If I do not twist it, you would not know it is after market. I like it a lot, I can leave for a ride early morning without waking up the wife and I get back late, without waking her up either....kELOWNA, BC, I always say that I will make the drive to Calgary to Kelwona with the old VFR. Maybe next summer, so you can listen to the Remus yourself. I also have a 1993 White VFR, same Remus.
