1999 Honda VFR 800 Ever seen a VFR painted like this?

I got bored with the solid red so this is what I came up with last winter. It all started with a tapeworks kit. I decided to two tone it and then figured out that the decal kit would not work with the paint scheme so I free handed the wing and managed to find the Hayden special edition woody stickers from the RC51. I deleted the monster turnsignals and added the undertail. With the high mount carbon TBR pipe, ZG double bubble and the Y2K mirrors to complete the look I get alot of complements on it. At first glance it often gets mistaked for a RC51. While it is obviously not the torque monster that the 51 is it is by far alot more comfortable! Who said that you couldn't have a cool sport touring bike? Let me know what ya'll think.

      Very unique and shouldn't lost in a VFR meet parking lot. Which front turn indicators did you use? I have been searching for a lower profile set that I don't need to perform body work to install.

      I have just bought a 1995 vfr750 in the same colour scheme. it's unusual to see the american honda colours over this side of the pond (UK) but it looks so good, part of what atracted me to buy the bike. yours looks good well done on a good job.

      this pic could very well make me change my desktop background....which currently is the 2009 w/European White and Black colors.

      I would love to see the red/silver color combo reversed..... any photoshop experts out there? ;)
