What's up derstuka?

Good to meet you the other day, and thanks for pointing me to this site.

I used to post up on vfrd, but the site slow down was driving me crazy so I've been on hiatus.

Anyway, I'm a bit out of practice but looking forward to hitting the twisties now the weathers getting better... do you all here do organized rides in socal?

To all who are curious, I ride an '07, and had an 85 vf500 a few years back. I'll post up some pics when I get a chance later.

Welcome to the site, can't wait to see the pics of your beauty! From what I hear VFRW is way better than VFRD so you better stick around!

 

Lots of VFRs in socal, even more throughout the state, and astronomical numbers on the western seaboard. Mostly a bunch of screwballs hang out here, but we're fun. Some people around here even know a thing or two about VFRs.

Well, I don't know if VFRWorld is better than VFRD (I post in both), but at least it's faster! That means you don't have to wait around as long before you get annoyed. :biggrin:

I've ridden a few times with the VFRD guys, but they always want to meet up really early, and way up North. And people don't like waiting for me cause I'm always late lol I'm hoping to get some people together for some down south rides, like 94 -> lyons valley -> julian, etc. and definitely not before 10 on a weekend.
Count me in for the BBQ!

Can't believe that last post was over a week ago.
As much as I love my job... I'm not a big fan of the weeks worth of after hours maintenance I just got through

Anyways, I was thinking about going this weekend, but the rain's putting a damper on that idea.
