OK I have only had my 06 VFR since January. Just turned 700 miles on it. I found out there was a guy that had inherited a Blackbird through his daughters divorce with very low mileage. The temptation was too much. I had to go look and possibly ride. This thing is mint and I am buying it. Dont think it makes sense to have the Blackbird and the VFR. More than likely the VFR will be sold. When i bought it I added hard bags from Honda and a tour sport windshield from DB. The bike is still new basically. Anybody interested let me know. I was looking at prices on Cycle Trader and on E-Bay. Id beat them all substantially.

Hell, it makes perfect sense to me to have two bikes, or three, or four, or as many as you can fit in your garage!

I was expecting to hear some comparison comments between the two...

Maybe just implied due to selling the VFR?

Makes sense to me as well but you know how wives are. She wouldnt make me get rid of one but there will be 3 in there and that takes up some space......HMMMMM, maybe get rid of the lawn tractor instead?

Looks like there have already been plenty of comparisons on here and I have read the majority of them trying to find as much info on the Blackbirds as possible. I will post thoughts of my own in a few weeks or so. Need some time.

I had one and loved it. Not sure now after a year on the VIF that I'd go back. I loved my Blackbird don't get me wrong.

Oh it makes PERFECT sense to have both in the garage.

Of course I'm biased, because I do have both in the garage. [IMG]

If your wife doesn't like it, kick her out and just use her old space to keep all the extra motorcycles!

After a 3 hour ride today, I am confident I made the right choice with the VFR. No way I could handle a sportier stance for that long.
    But, I am not you.

interesting thoughts folks...Shorty I like your attitude....wifes nickname is Shorty as well. Not quite sure what will happen here.
All i know is by tomorrow night there will be 3 bikes in the garage. I have had 2 quite a few times but never 3. Buddy of mine from Charlotte was laughing at me as i went from a Harley touring bike to a VFR to what he said is an outright rocket ship. What can I say I love motorcycles.....

The VFR will out corner the Blackbird, but the Blackbird does have quite a rush to it when you crank it. Thats my quick notes from riding back to back,
    4th gen to Blackbird.

I'm just waiting on Honda to redesign the CBR1000RR. Those 1098's are pretty sweet, though...
