My whole point of this is I had the right to leave neutral feedback warning others this is not a double bubble as shown in pics! And I also did not deserve negitive feedback to be left for me. Yes not of a VFR in pics, but clearly if you are going to put a pic up it should illustrate what you are selling. Selling a car with a pic of a VETTE I would assume I am buying a VETTE ?!?

As a seller I always leave positive feedback when I am paid. I never had an issue with anyone receiving my parts. Why? because I take clear pictures and describe the item as it is.

I agree Ebay is getting worse but the new regulations will help some.

well, after looking at the add in ebay it says nothing about double bubble, hate to say it SLVFR, but I believe it is your won fault. Not to rainon your parade, but it does not say anything at all. Pictures really mean nothing. You should have researched Lockhart & Phillips.

    Sorry just mho.

Anyone who buys from a seller with 54 negative feedbacks gets what they deserve. Chalk this up to living & learning. I WILL NOT deal with anyone with any negatives, period, end of story.

I am not disputing your point about negative feedback at all. And in fact I agree with you on that point that you did not deserve negative feedback. I was just observing that nowhere did it say the shield was a other than a standard shield. I guess my point is this - you say don't buy from him as he is a liar and a rip-off. But you were the one who made the "assumption" that the shield was a double bubble type. for all I know, he may be exactly what you say he is. But if I see a pic that is not reflected in the ad description, either by way of the headline or somewhere in the body, then it would seem a logical step to email the seller and ask, or do a bit more research before bidding/buying. Just my $.02

It looks like the ad is for a double bubble style to me also. granted it doesn't say that, and I would have asked probably, but it looks to be made to intentionally deceive to me. why would you have a picture of it if that is not what you mean people to think you are selling. especially considering he doesn't specify.

In a perfect world were all is good and good people people never get sent to prison for things they never did........right. Negative feedback Is just a guide and you have to look at everyones with a different view and open mind. You cant please everyone and the more people you deal with the more idiots you run across....

Check out those Yellow Blue Sidi boots, you'd want to be a very good rider to wear those out riding.

    From my original post:
From my second post (common sense oriented):

Common sense? Hmm....isn't that what my logical next step would have been? To ask questions? I was not defending either side. Just pointing out my observations and applying a little "common sense" as you put it. As I said, errors were made on both ends of this. IMO, you got short ended in the feedback area. At the worst you should have got the same as you received. If I were a seller, then you would have got a postive feedback because you paid. As someone who is customer oriented, I would have even offered to refund the $ you paid and asked that you return the item, something this seller did not apparently offer. As a buyer, since it did not state in the ad it was anything other that a standard screen, regardless of the pic, I would have sent an email and asked. You didn't. That was your choice. I am not you and you are not me and as individuals we will do things different.

1.) Go into site map and look under feedbacks. You can add more to your original feedback if you want and you can put a note on the negative he gave you. At least others will see that you disagree with what he said.
2.) The comment about dealing with anyone with negative feedbacks is just WRONG. I think it is prudent to look at the feedbacks before you just say NO. I had a guy give me a negative feedback recently and tried to get his money back from PayPal and they didn't honor his claim. He was trying to get something for nothing. Of course I deal in computer stuff allot so that is a bit different. You have to look at the buyer or seller as a whole not just their feedbacks. I have been doing this for years and I have about 7 negative feedbacks over 5 years and if you look at them you will see that most of them were kicked off of ebay for their auctions. Like I said above and as in life you will come across rip offs at one point in time. Lots of eBayers use feedbacks as a way to get back instead of dealing. WHen I leave a negative I always offer that any ebayer can contact me so they can see more than the 37 characters you get in a negative feedback.

I may be "WRONG" but why is it, the only time anyone gets the shaft on Ebay, it's from people with, OH MY GOSH!!!!, negative feedback? He dealt with a guy with 54 negatives & look what it got him. So I can live with being "WRONG" on this one.

When I use Ebay, buying or selling, people with negative feedback need not apply. Right or wrong, I'm not swaying from this policy.

“Son, we live in a world that has auctions, and those auctions have to be guarded by men with computers. Whose gonna do it? You? You, KC? I have more responsibility here than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Sellers, and you curse the Buyers. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That the sale of a double bubble, while tragic, probably saved money. And that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves feedback. I know deep down in places you dont talk about at parties, you don’t want me bidding, you need me bidding. We use words like honor, code, loyalty, paypal, feedback. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very thread I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a Macy's account, and stand to post. Either way, I don’t give a damn what you think you are entitled to!”

    Hey SLOVER

Congratulations for putting this humourous spin on this thread. You da man!

And KC. Same to you for accepting this humour and standing by your position. Both you are gentlemen in my books. And if being called a gentleman offends you two, then we could be friends to boot cause I don't read my books. I just look at the pix.

    Back to the Heineken.
