Anyone have a pair? The guy in my squadron who races wears nothing else & he swears they are the most comfortable race boots money can buy. He's worn Tecknic, AStars, AGV & Sidi but now says Gaerne is the way to go.

These are the ones I'm looking at:

A long term track day junky workmate told me to stay clear of the Puma track boots as while it looks the biz its rear strap keeps unclipping itself for no reason leaving the back of his boot totally open.

Try and find a shop and try some out. I found them comfortable out of the box and the sole is thin enough to give me the control feel that I like. The issue is that the Garnes have BIG graphics on them and look a little over the top for everyday use. [IMG]

Even to low key touring boot is a bit much. I may still buy them though. They are comfortable.

I haven't found a dealer yet that stocks them. All I can find locally are AStars & Sidi.
