Just switched the VFR over to Amsoil (MCF)synthetic...

    No Bad... Thanks again for the post. This was good info to have out there. I know I appreciated it.

    I bet if I could loose about 40LBs of these damn burritos I might get get more performance out of the VIFER. :eek:

    SO, tehchnically, we could post dieting as a realistic MOD for our VFRs?:confused:

    The funny thing is that we are all trying to shed weight off our bikes to get more out of them but if we just pushed the plate away at the dinner table we might save money on mods and possbile be more healthy to boot. :biggrin:

    I just recently did oil change number two at 2000 miles, and switched over from straight petroleum-based to Golden Spectro 10-40 synthetic blend (use it in my other bikes, too). My idle speed also increased about 150 - 200 RPM, and my best mileage to date has increased from 48MPG to 50MPG. The MPG may be completely coincidental, however. My average is still about 42MPG.
