According to AP there was a magnitude 5.4 earthquake this morning (4/18) about 4:36 A.M CDT centered near the Illinois-Indiana border, about 6 miles east-southeast of New Salem, Illinois. It woke me up in Nashville!

Hope all you guys up north are OK!!

I got shaken up at 5:38 AM here in Indianapolis. It moved for several seconds.
That's the second quake I've felt in the past 4 years here. One more and it'll tie my California experience!

I'm also in Indy and I felt it at the same time at 5:38. Shook my house, the bed; thought it was wind at first, until the furniture started to shake. The television stations were having a good time with it.

great, I just came to MO yest. it'll probably wake up the new madrid fault. I read something in the paper last week that said we in CA have about a 99.9% of a mag 6 or greater in the next 30 yrs that will do more dmage than nortridge or something like that... maybe it was 6.5, anyway...it's gonna suck cause earthquake insurance is so high that most people dont have it... there are gonna be a lot of people SOL...

You've got to keep a firm grasp on your priorities. I'm sure your wife will understand.
