Guys, this was one of those days that was PERFECT riding weather. You know...not to hot, not to cold...just right.
I live in NW Arkansas which hugs the MO line, and there are great roads to ride to view the mountains.
Today, I rode to Cycle Gadgets in Eureka Springs, AR. It's about 40 miles from where I live. Cycle Gadgets is where I purchased my ram mount for my GPS unit. Great place to visit, and family owned. All the guys working there drive BMWs, but most of the customers are Honda Goldwing riders.
I never realized what a difference a good helmet makes. I purchased a Shoei RF1000 over winter, and today tried it out. Lot less wind noise, and helmet lift. Another thing that probably helped was the addition of the ZG Touring screen.
My next investment is going to HAVE to be a Sargent Seat. My butt is killing me.
Below are some pics of Beaver Dam. Pretty cool riding over that.
For those of you who may be from around the MO, AR parts, Cycle Gadgets is having a Open House next week with a BBQ/band/ and prize drawings. Hopefully it will be as nice next Saturday.

That helmet would look good with my yellow 5th gen. What lake is that dam on?
    I own property in Branson.

Dam, your bike looks the best of all the rides in front of the store. Dam that is a dang big dam. Next time, take some pictures of the beavers along the way ;-)

I was thinking of running out to Elkins, AR yesterday to see if the recent rain had finished off the road. I'm giving some thought to spending a weekend in AR to explore.

Drewl, that is on Beaver Lake. Branson isn't that far from Eureka Springs.....I think about another 60 miles or less.
I do so love my yellow helmet. It matches the yellow wings on the tank.
By the way, you may be familiar, but aren't they holding a motorcycle rally in Branson this June??

    Follow Up.........

Went to the BBQ today. Again, beautiful weather today. There was a BMW rally not to far away, so most all the rides there were Beemers. BMW folks sure like to put some gadgets on their bikes. I also saw about 4 Yamaha FJRs. Two of them were the new "Clutchless" or Automatics. Looked odd to see a motorcyle with no clutch handle.

Those mother f'ers look like they have a hard time finding their way around  Not one hp2 sport and that winnebago conversion was downright, shoot, i can't even come up with anything to say for that  Those things make a VFR look like a supersport bike - "do all these BMW's make my @$$ look less fat"?
