Riddle me this - What minor impairment of Soichiro Honda led to our VFR ?

Funny how the world works where an individuals early setback can eventually lead to our greater good.

Does anyone know what minor impairment Soichiro Honda was born with indirectly led to our enjoyment of VFR's ? :clock:

My "Guess" is that he had a restriction in his back flexibility, thus the more upright ergonomics of the bike.

Im guessing he had the gout. I know ben franklin had it, and I dont know of anyone else around these parts with it now. So folks in Asia must be hoggin all the gout these days.

And a car crash may lead to herniated or severely ruptured disc, which leads to restrictions in back flexibility. Yup. I know exactly cause I am there now, and that is the main reason I initially bought mine. Thus the guess.

BTW, gout is still very much out there. I sure glad I don't have it. I understand it is very painful and I also understand there is little one can do to relieve the pain when it comes on, just wait it out. One of the guys at work has it. I am told it may be emphasized by alcohol. So this leads to Weed vs beer thread.

As far as the Avatar, my earlier disclaimer still holds true. I am going to have to look long and hard to find a replacement for that one I think. Maybe my mug shot?
