Sweet Home is a little under 2.5 hours.

That's the first and only time I've crashed... I was just being silly and ended up on my butt. I almost landed on both feet in a kneeling position, but couldn't stick it (unfortunately for my jeans).

YES! Somehow I convinced my college sweetie to marry me! We found each other after losing touch with each other a few decades ago. THANKS!

Wow! The world is small indeed, you found her again after some time. I personally was after my wife for 5 years (2 of them I had no clue where she was) until she gave up. She seemed different than the others ones. Can't complain!

No Way! Congrats on that. That's one of those stories that I think most of us wonder about every now and then. I asked my sweetheart to marry me when I graduated, she said no. My life turned out cool anyway. I have reconnected with her on the net, she's doin fine too. Go Back? Hell no. Best thing I ever did was get out of dodge three days after graduation. Never would have ended up here and found my VFR. Hmmm. I traded my highschool sweetheart for a VFR. Good times.

Thanks Shorty! It was nice weather...83 degrees and a slight breeze. It got hot the next day so it was perfect.

Yoda: the good ones are worth waiting for. I proposed 30 years to the day after meeting her (on that first day of classes).

I am laughing Drewl! Life generally tends to work out for the best. In any case, always look at the positives or else you'll rue the choices you do make. Make a good choice and then look at the good things that come out of those choices...oh, good Karma!

Christmas 1958 I think. And I used to bounce that thing from one side of the room to the other. Bounced really good on freshly polished hardwood floors too. Mom loved me for it. She kept telling me, "Thanks, I have nothing better to do with my time!" She used to think I was hard at hearing when I was young cause she spoke very loudly to me.:brick:

Ok here we go... my wife is from England so we go back every year to visit family. This years trip happened to put us in the the U.K. over St Patricks day. So.... me being the constantly thinking person I am, I suggest a quick side trip to Dublin on St Patricks day....my wife being the absolutely amazingly cool person (read fan of Guiness) she is... we did a quick 24 hour Guiness soaked trip. What a great time.

Here's a recent picture of me packed into my old 'stich, and one canning sauce last year. Fair warning to you younger guys; good sauce (among other things), over time, makes you need to move up from a 42 long to a 46 regular!
