I beg your pardon for I come into this "american/canadians" debate...we like this site because it's free and open also to us Europeans VFR. You talk about rivality between USA and Canada (does it really exist?)....but this is no matter to do. The V4 spirit is our common spirit. Then, imagine the bad reputation we have (I speak about Naples inhabitants)...but we never mind !
Our VFR is faster than a bad point of view. Let's talk about our bikes. A vfr driver is a gentleman, everywhere, despite of political ideas and place of birh !

Carmine, There almost always has been more of a friendly rivalry between the USA and Canada. Especially in sports. Most times it is taken for what it is. We have some here as they do too, who absolutely despise one another. Nothing we can do about that. Otherwise for the most part in business, trade, and politics we get along. I left out sports because it is unequal. Canada always kicks their ass.

And yes, this is a VFR site. Sometimes it gets heated with points of view and we usually get over that as you probably have seen. Some threads may not interest you and I am sure no one expects everyone to read every thread. I don't even know if that is possible. If the thread is of little or no interest to you, I am sure you will find one that does.

As a fellow VFR'r I certainly hope you stick with us. Since joining this forum, I have found tremendous entertainment and information value.

With that in mind, I can only imagine some of the roads you over in your neck of the woods.

Greetings Carmine. I don't think anyone here has any real hate for anyone else. There are a few that I think are so stupid they lower the total sum of human intellgence every time they type something but you can't have everything.

I love Italy. I've been all over the country & it is truely one of the nicest places I've ever visited.

How can anyone not like Canada? I've liked Canada every time I've been there. I don't count their politics since most people have zero to do with the politics.

But you guys did good in hockey in the last Winter Olympics didn't you? You won silver in men's hockey, and didn't you win silver in the womens hockey too? I am a little foggy on that one I must admit. Who was it who won the gold anyways on both them? And the Loonie under centre ice, now I just loved that one. Cheeky little buggers:first:

I only wished I could just jump on the steed and zip over to Italy the same way I can to the States.
