I agree. How come most of the chicks on bikes(present company excepted) would be better off kept behind closed doors? Maybe I just ride in the wrong areas?

I don't have a pic to post, but here is an article that ran in our local newspaper this morning. Definitely a squid! From the Gary, Indiana Post Tribune:

PORTER COUNTY

Unlicensed cyclist clocked at 137 mph

A motorcyclist clocked driving up to 137 miles per hour Monday evening was ticketed for reckless driving, speeding, driving with a suspended license and operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement on his license.

Randall Reed, 20, of Chesterton was released from the scene after his motorcycle was impounded.

Police said they saw Reed's motorcycle speeding on Indiana 49 near County Road 850N, stopping it on County Road 200E.

 

Pffft. only 137? A buddy of mine (no not me!) got caught doing 139. Went to jail for a day and had to get a lawyer. So far trial is still pending. What was kind of wild was that the lawyer requested a copy of the on-camera footage and we all ended up watching it. It was a little surreal seeing my buddy on TV getting arrested.

However, this cop that pulled him over was pretty extreme. When the cop got behind him he turned the lights on then got to the side of the bike and started yelling, "You better not run I'll wreck your bike!"

My buddy pulls over and the cop yells "You better not make a move or I'll taze you to next week!!" The lawyer is filing a complaint saying that the cop is a cowboy cop and didn't even read him his rights.

This weekend I'm riding with him to North Carolina. It might be his last legal ride for a while.

 

Your buddy should have saved that kind of speed for the track! I hope your ride this weekend is a safe one.

The general forum has not changed, that is true. I mostly hang out in the rebel forum. One day I responded to every single post with "yeah......" it was cool seeing my name on the whole forum as the last poster.

On nice days, I always see a local guy pulling a trailer with his motorcycle. A trailer, built especially for his dog! I've wanted to snap a pic, but I am always driving when I see him.

 

Ok I swear I like the police but this pic is just too funny.

I have to say that the first one with the cop is slightly disturbing... Who is to say that he didn't jsut kit a kid running across the street or something??? Note the crime scene yellow tape in the background... I doubt he would be that upset because he dropped his bike...

The second doesn't fit the squid description, either. ATGATT, plus showing off some nice cornering skills on a 999. Most squids ride rice-burners, you don't see many squids on a 30k Duc.

The last one is an oldie, but a goodie! Nice!

I have to concur my VFR brother. What do these mods and the owner of VFRD do for a living were they can devote that much anal retentive time to such garbage as taglines.

If you want something to die, quit bringing it up! They blame members but its seems top memebers and mods are doing the discussion.

That is exactly why I won't join VFRD. Its not all the rules they have, its the attitude behind the rules thats the issue.

Side bar: Does anybody know what the Slammer does for a living? Just curious.
