To my knowledge, I thought they were offered in blue in Europe/Australia (maybe Canada), and pretty anywhere else that is not the US!

I think it would be easier and much cheaper to get one here and just have it repainted using the factory honda paint codes. Then you won't have to worry about reg fees, having a speedo in KPH, and so on.

I was thinking that. I checked out prices in UK dollars, and AUS dollars. Man living in the US sucks with BUSH but rocks with $$$

I saw a 2005 VFR at the dearship with 5k miles on it for $6200 last weekend. I think I will paint it if I really want it blue.

I have a blue ZX-14, and my girlfriend rides my 1997 VFR. If I get another VFR (for her), I would like it blue so they match.

I am liking that blue one. I think I might just have to get me one of those.

I have a blue ZX-14 with silver wheels (not chrome). I would love to have a blue VFR with silver wheels to match.

I have a red VFR for sale now, as well as a Bandit 1250 so I have to sell those. But I may replace them with a newer VFR and paint it blue.

Hmm....how much are replacement decals for the VFR? How much do you think a paint shop will charge to paint it?

Mine is a custom 'Ocean Blue' with silver wheels, I must admit it does look really good. It's a 1997 model, in Australia, but not for sale...sorry. Cheers.

Sorry, forgot to mention that there is a shop on eBay called 'Stencilmaster', he has VFR decals for the 750s, not sure on the 800s. A complete set sells for around AU$45 - $55, depending if you want chrome or blue chrome etc, but there are other good colour selections available.

The custom paint job on my bike (which the previous owner payed for) was AU$2500, but it wasn't a straight forward spray job concerning the colour, so I would expect you could get a cheaper one.

You could also do it yourself....cheers

Just today I bought a blue 2002 vfr in california.
The guy (like all of us, it seems) fell in love with the color.
He contacted a honda shop in Canada, ordered new blue plastic and had it shipped.
So I got both red and blue plastic in the deal if I ever drop it or need to turn red to blend in with all the other red racers out there.
Seems like with the prevalance of on-line retailers out there you should be able to find some UK or Canada supplier that will ship to the states. I'll be going that route to try to find touch up paint if my local dealer says he can't get blue. I'll post my experiences in this thread as it progresses...
