My brother and his wife were run over by aDrunk driver last night

Yes a scumbag drunk driver ran over 3 motorcycles last night and sped off.
My brother and his wife were thrown from the motorcycle and his wife was ran over by the car and had to be flown to Evansville Indiana ,deacons hospital.

My Brother escaped with pulled back muscles and a fractured elbow , his wife was not so lucky, .. her injuries are life threatening. Busted bladder,lacerated liver, bruised lung,broken ribs,broken pelvis,busted intestines, and the list goes on. she has been in surgery twice since last night.

The drunk driver was caught 30 minutes later and is in jail, they better keep him there ..One of the other motorcyclists died at the scene but was later revived at the Herrin hospital. the other rider I can not find info on as of yet.

The estimated speed of the car was 65-75mph when it hit the motorcyclists in a 45mph zone.

If you could please say a prayer for my brother and his wife and family.

Wow...I don't know what to say. I hope everyone comes out of this ok, and they keep the scumbag alive just long enough for everyone involved to sue him into the poorhouse, then you all can take turns running HIM over.

 

Nailer, sorry to hear about that. That just pisses me off thinking about it. No excuse for his actions, and I hope he gets the Sh!t beat out of him in jail.

Agreed. My thoughts and best wishes go out to all involved except the SOB that caused it. To him there are other things I'd prefer to do. I just hope the laws in your area are enforced better than they are here.

I talked to my brother and he was able to see his wife and hold her hand and his wife is still in critical but stable condition.
what a Ironic term these doctors use " Critical but stable". My brother and his children are doing okay , worried and rundown as any of us would be if in the same situation.

I have told him of all the support and prayers from the members of VFRworld and he thanks you all.
