Well, since I have all this time to daydream over here waiting on the USAF to come pick me up and take me home, and with KC's thread about meeting the Prez turning into a beerfest, I figured we could all discuss our FAVORITE BREWS. Here are my top five in rank order.....

    Runner up: Spaten Optimator
    #5 Newcastle
#4 Guinness* (*preferrably mixed 1/2 and 1/2 with Harp)
    #3 Paulaner Hefe Weizen
#2 Fat Tire (I cannot find this on the east coast for some reason) Any east coasties spotted it?
#1 Chimay Ale (a belgian Tappist monk brew that causes spontaneous orgasms)

But nothing beat a couple sips of Glen Levit 20 year old Single Malt Scotch over ice and lightly mellowed with a touch of cold spring water

PS. That''s what GI Joe in your message has hidden in that cup of his.

I have a wee question here. I presume these are all European. This said, they would all be stronger that Canadian beer....errr I think. And much stronger than your down there. If you were to drink one of each, starting at the topp, over a period of an hour, just how th F&%@ would you be able to pronounce the first one to start over again:drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :puke: :puke:

    #1 - Stewart's IPA (Delaware micro-brew)
    #2 - Bass Pale Ale
    #3 - Guiness
    #4 - Harp
    #5 - Smithwick's

Guiness half and half with either Bass or Harp is a thing of beauty.

My head hurts. I did what you said, except for #5 on my list (I don't have any on hand) so I just doubled the others on the list. Now I can't remember what it was I was supposed to do after I drank all of them & it's now tomorrow.

For me the top 5 beers my tastebuds love are:

    1. Cervesa Indio (Sold and made only in Mexico, I love that dog on beer, Dark color, smooth, not watery, ahhhhhh my GOD I'm thirsty. Always brings good memories of my trips down south).
    2. Medalla (Sold and made in Puerto Rico. Since I'm a puertorrican, I have to support them. Taste great, not watery, and cheap).
    3. Presidente (Best beer from Dominican Republic, taste similar to Heineken BUT gives you a kick in the @SS after you drink like 3, strong beer).
    4. Corona + Lemon Wedge + Salt (Can't beat Coronas bro. Good replacement when Indios are not available).
    5. Milwakee's Best (I know, I know, I know. It's a cheap @ss beer, but somehow I like it.

    Honorary mentions:
Guiness, Sapporo, Tequiza, Negra Modelo, Bare Knuckles (I dont think they sell this beer in the market, I get it Sea World on their brewery).
