    I extremely dislike George Bush

I hate the beast!! Worst president EVER, even including Nixon!!

Nazi leaders were tried for war crimes after WWII, so why not Bush/Cheney????

$3,000,000,000 taxpayer dollars and counting, 4000 US lives lost, maybe 40,000 serious injuries.and don't forget the 150,000 Iraqi deaths....was it worth it??

    Hail to the chief???

Politics aside, he's still MY Commander In Chief & I showed him the respect such a position is entitled.

Don't lower yourself. I don't particularly agree with Bush's politics and decisions but you are 200% right. He is you leader and deserves your respect. I haven't always agreed with our Prime Ministers but they once were my boss too.

    Keep yourself safe.

BTW Canadian beer is better than American!!!

Wonder what type of bandwidth Bush gets on his jet?

What I would do for a Sleeman's Honey Brown right now.

KC fine job!! Differences or opinions about each other aside..you are right he (George Bush)is the commander and chief and desevres respect, afterall like him or not he is our PRESIDENT and we have not been attacked since 9-11. He can't control every event in all peoples lives but our pressence in the gulf is needed or the Iran Leader will take that area and starve the world of oil plus we still have not gotten a confirmed kill on osama, enough of what i think, but maybe squirrellman did not get out and vote. you know he might have had an all night binge at the rainbow room and his boyfriend did not tell him it was voting day. After all those types need the news to tell them how to live and what to think... I respect our president and support our troups!!! God Bless America for our freedoms and the lives we get to live in the U.S.A. and if you don't like it here you have the freedom to leave and never comeback!!!!!

OH Yeah, and Hitler was the leader and deserved every German's respect too, right??
Leaders deserve respect only when they're good men on a good mission; Bush deserves a good beating and a jail cell for his crimes.

Bush lied to get his war started, so just what respect does a liar deserve?
He didn't have the right intellegence to start his war. We could have eventually gotten rid of Saddam with good intelligence and a couple of cheap missles, and the military knows this.

I never killed any civilians on my job, and I wish you all could claim the same.

Powder...we got snow in Burnaby today too. When the $%^& is summer coming? I can't wait to ride without all the cold gear.

    And KC.

I was guarding my Commander in Chief today as well. But he is just a CEO. Also watched over the Board of Directors at a meeting. They are not too popular but the CEO is great.

For what its worth, these words hold alot of truth. If you have never lived anywhere else in the world, take it from me. We have it REALLY good here in the US.

Fosters? I don't know why that is such a hit over here in North America. Australia has so many better beers.

I think the exchanges between squirrelman and KC-10 are out of line. Hey moderators...maybe you guys should step in now?

    KC-10,
Dude...I'm a servicemember as well. It's awesome that you got to meet the CINC. The closest I've gotten to meeting one of them is when my dad (back in the 70's met Jimmy Carter). Looking good in the flight jacket, as well. (I'll post a picture of me in mine one of these days:smile:) Just do me a favor...realize that when you post a photograph of yourself in an Air Force uniform and then leave a reply to something as vitriolic as what Squirrelman said in the manner you did, you are now speaking on the behalf of our Air Force. I'm not trying to be an asshat...I'm trying to keep you from lowering yourself and your admirable profession to Squirrelman's level.

Squirrelman is clearly looking to get a rise out of those who live their lives in service to all people out there...no matter their differing opinions. Just turn the other cheek, my good man. Again, good show in meeting the CINC. Looking sharp.

I think it snowed pretty much everywhere today. Even downtown Seattle got a little McLovin.

But yeah....like you, I am hating this spring weather. Just put a new set of tires on the VFR also, and all I got to do was ride them home.

I am dreaming of the day, in the not to distant future, where myself and my bike will become one, motoring up the Sea To Sky.

Our armor is plenty thick. How's about you stop egging your servicemembers on, dude? The things with which our troops have to endure on a daily basis just to be able to do their jobs is strenuous to say the least. No servicemember of any class or quality is going to hold your opinion against you. That's why we're here...so you can disagree with the civilian authorities of this country and other countries as well.

Instead of being a cancer on this forum, how about congratulating KC-10 FE for meeting a man most of us aren't even allowed to be near? You don't have to agree with the CINC's politics...lots of servicemembers don't. That's no excuse, however, for that ridiculous attack on this forum. Be an adult, man. That's all I'm asking...

Yes, can we all play nice children? I wasn't able to see any negative comments on your photos KC (not saying I do not believe you), so I did not see any "direct" insults to your person. However, I believe that Squirrel came on very objectional with some of his beliefs and your picture brought it all out of him. I am gonna out out on a limb, but I don't think he was directly insulting you, but the POTUS and his emotion went out of control.

Personally, I think it is always kinda neat to meet a president. Nice pictures KC. Glad you were excited to meet him and got some pics of it. I personally have a lot of negative thoughts/opinions about Bush, but I don't need to express them here. It will only start a flamefest. I will just say what I did that it was cool you met him.

I am just gonna say to please stop with the direct insults on one another..... AND if you dislike Bush this much Squirrel, start up a thread about it, but do it in a rational (read, non-swearing) & mature way. You saw how this came out.

I will lock this thread if the insults and flaming continues...

    :blah: :blah:

Also, maybe if you both agee to it, delete the insulting threads, and try and get this post back on track....if possible...

KC-10 that's pretty cool. Not every day you get to see the CinC up close like that.

I was hanging around the airport one day and Bob Hope flew in. I rode over with the refueling guys. There was a big welcoming committee of the Mayor and a bunch of big wigs waiting for him to come off the plane. I walked right out in front of them to look at the plane, and just as I did Bob came down the stairs. He held out his hand and said, "Hi. I'm Bob Hope." I said, "Hi Bob. I'm Scott and I just wanted to look at your Jetstar." The mayor turned 10 shades of red and purple and made these neat gargling sounds. I just kept giving Bob's plane the once over ;)
