who says VFRs are underpowered? I think we can put that to rest right now. Now everytime we get someone here trolling for a flamefest about how the liter bikes are what you need, we can just point them to those pictures...

Yes, that is part of their teaching. It was written up in one of the bike mags (and they had a similar pic). They prove to the rider on the back what steering inputs REALLY control the bike. Sounds like a great school. They emphasize trail braking. They cover things the other schools are afraid to teach.

That is sweet, two up. Pointing where he needs to go with his right hand and left hand on the throttle. Wow, gotta go to that school.

yeah, I do that occasionally to rest the right but I've never done it on a track two-up. That's confidence and skill right there.

    Not ripping, just pointing out.-

Big differance with Freddie on the bike & the average joe:wink:

I never said you couldn't track ride a VFR, hell I've seen HD Sportsters & HD Dyna Sport run on a track & pass other bikes, because it's more the rider than the machine(even though a good machine helps) !

Oh & I've taken Freddies school, & that VFR has it's brakes de-linked & the suspension is not stock, not to mention top mechanics are all over it all the time.

Freddies school costs pretty much as much as a really good used bike, but after the other schools I've been to, there nothing in comparison what his school will teach you & worth more than what you paid.

    p.s.
Reason Freddie uses the VFR is mainly for 2 up instruction, because if it was that great of a track bike, all the trainee bikes would be VFR's also, not the newest CBR600RR's

If he had his way, he'd probably be out there on a RC45, but kinda hard to do 2 up trainig (& the CBR600RR's) on a bike like that.

VFR bikes are good, not the best, & as long as people remember that they can have as much fun on them as there capable of having.

you never rode with left hand on throttle oh wait probably never had a freaky girl friend either you do that so you can unzip you pants on highway.lol oh his finger on the clutch bet he clutched it and the 3 rr's are about to blow by him down the next str8 unless he told them in the chatter box hey guys lets see if i can wheelie this next str8 don't run me over............but they are great picks i think the luggage should have been installed like to see fast fred drag those bags too.. anyhoo. i think riding on the back of randy malmoa would be crazier because both people drag their knees insane (taz) remember him on the cagiva????????

Yes I remember Randy, & "IF" you pass Freddie or any other instructors w/o them giving the OK, you won't be ridding very long (see the chatter box's on all the riders helmets !).

Actually 2 up on the track dragging knee's on the right bike is pretty easy (VFR, Sprint ST, ZX10, 1098, & with the skills some others) & I've had my Daughter @ the track on the back showing her better lines & she dragged her knee's as well as her hand across the apex's.
