Probably dirty pistons in the caliper. How many miles on the bike? May be time to take them apart, clean everything with Brakeclean or similar and install new seals.

I'd go by what the other members have said, seems like the caliper on the left isn't actuating to the same degree as the one on the right.

It's a really nice day in San Diego today, clear skies, really sunny and not hot at all! I would think it would be even better riding weather up in Oceanside, eh?

I'd say they could stand to be cleaned. The seals should be fine to reuse.

:vtr2: :vtr2: :vtr2: :vtr2: :vtr2: Indeed veryfunride, I rode everyday and today is awsome, not to hot and not to cold just perfect. You are in San Diego We should hook up and ride together some time, I know Jason also from San Diego. Not this weekend maybe next week. I will try to clean the caliper and the piston to see if it work. Thanks you all for the input.

I work at PBR and we makes brakes for Corvettes etc.
marc is right .. you have high drag in your right caliper.
Dry guide pins are far more common than sticky pistons (and easier to rectify).
You need to make sure the caliper can slide freely on the pins that hold it to the bracket if not get some High temp brake lubricant (silicon grease) clean the pins and holes ... and check that the rubber boots are not damaged which would have caused the corrosion in the first place.

Good catch. I had thought Honda had gone to real brakes by '05. They're not the opposed-piston calipers I thought they were using.
