When its not safe to even park your bike

These pictures came from a mate and show the aftermath of a driver who either decided to crack up and take out their frustration on the parked bikes here in Canberra (for whatever reason) or had a serious brake/steering failure.

I believe that the bikes were parked in motorcycle designated parking areas and one theory is that the driver, unable to find a car park decided to wreak havoc. Can't be sure but I think both the VFR and Harley were parked on the tarmac and not on the path areas. Sure did cop a wallop.

I feel gutted for the VFR owner especially but have no sympathy for the driver who, if guilty of a deliberate act and is caught, better be praying that they are under lock and key in a padded cell.

wow. i would have a stroke. that is terrible. If it was the UK I would say they probably got it on camera, but I dont know how things are there in the deep deep south... ugh. poor vfr!

 

that makes my gut ache. It's even the blue paint I like.

If you guys find the perpetrator, give me a shout. I'm from NJ, I know how to "solve problems" like this. Not to mention that I always look forward to visiting Oz.

Around here that driver would have had an unexpected trip to the hospital with multiple bruises lacherations contutions few broken bones and would be injesting their nutrition through a straw for about six weeks ....... Then would have to figure out if their insurance paid for damage to the bike or just set their car on fire and call it even.........

 

I think I just shat myself.

Well, since this thread has been dredged up from the depths of long dead threads.....someone should hang for that one, I don't care if the bikes we're doin burnouts on the sidewalk!!! There's just no cause for that.
