Where is a good place to tap into accessory power? I want to install a battery gauge, but all I'm finding is full time power except the headlights. I really didn't want to take off a fairing to find one. Any ideas?

You could just run it straight to the battery and put a small in-line switch on the positive lead. Though, the headlight route I think would be best in any event.

How about the horn. It's fairly easy to get at and tap off.

The tail light is usually a good place for a tap. Normally not hard to get to. Just get the TAIL light and not brake or turn signal lights.

Horn is a good idea, I didn't even think of that one. And it's close enough to the instruments that I won't need to splice more wire into the gauge.

    Thanks everyone.
