Long time reader, first time poster/member. I grew up here in Oregon on dirtbikes and quads, and finially purchased my first street bike. I really wanted a VFR so I found this one for $1600. I really didnt like the rattle can job the previous owner did on it, so I decided to do a little better one myself: The bike runs perfect, otherwise I wouldn't have wanted to pay that much for it. Now it looks 100% better, soon I should have the new decals for it too. Besides painting, the only thing I've done is re-foam the seat so it is lower. Being baaaaarely 5'2" the bike is too tall for me, but it is MUCH better now. As long as I am not on some monster hill I can touch ok. Here is to futures, and maybe finding some good tricks to lower this thing a little more.

Thanks I live in St Helens, OR right now. I've driven 47 in my car quite a bit, goes through some cool country. I am pretty lucky that there are a lot of roads around here like that. I am also planning on taking the bike out to a wedding in Yakima this summer, should also be a nice trip.
